Double acting telescopic cylinders

Double-acting telescopic cylinders are composed of an outer cylinder with an added number of steps. In this way we achieve a short build-in, but a long stroke.  Double-acting telescopic cylinders generate a hydraulic force in two directions - both pulling and pushing. The cylinders are often provided with piston rings where the piston seals are not entirely free from the leakage. Therefore they are not suitable for hauling cargo.

Each cylinder is usually equipped with one oil connection to the tension side and one oil connection to the pressure side.
